For decades thoughtful creative people, both nationally and world wide, have urged We The People Of The United States Of America to change our ways. Regardless of the urgings of thoughtful and creative people everywhere eager and willing to awaken us to the error of our ways we have remained deaf and blind to atrocities committed in our name.
We The People have continued to use the resources of 4 other people for each one of us while leaving the others with nothing. The United States Of America maintains this inequity by employing the most destructive weapons in history to shock and awe the helpless.
Thoughtful creative people have been ignored, disparaged, marginalized, slandered and persecuted for their well intended efforts. Strangely, despite the oppression, their ranks have grown.
Still the gluttony continued.
We did not listen so now second hand SUVs and high performance cars go begging for buyers. We did not respond and now the liars and thieves of international finance have turned upon us.
As We The People lose our children, our jobs and our homes the plundering of The United States Of America continues.
Police and military brutality, large scale arrests and imprisonment, corruption at every level of government and terrorism by our own supposed protectors have all come home to roost in the United States Of America.
We will not vote our way to peace because the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) lobbies against peace. The article Why is the Peace Movement Silent About AIPAC? explains our situation. “With upwards of 60% of their campaign contributions coming directly or indirectly from the Israel Lobby, the Democratic congressmen are not free to respond to their antiwar base.”
If you think we can change our system from within the system please read Election Fraud is NOT the Real Problem – The Entire System is Corrupt! This is not speculative writing. Once again someone has taken risks hoping to alert us to the dangers we face.
We The People have waited too long to awaken.
If all of this seems to make you dizzy then that is just the result of the speed that our consumerist culture is circling the drain. The environment and the effects of endless international wars waged to increase the wealth of international corporations have reached their tipping points.
Without a doubt We The People Of The United States Of America now face mandatory irrevocable change.
Those in denial, those who still wish to foolishly believe those who have lied to us over and over again, still struggle to preserve a lifestyle impossible to support under any conditions. These people choose to embrace confusion rather than admit simple facts.
Those who are willing to face the facts are now working on plans for what will replace the dysfunctional destructive system we were born into. They have realized that this system will collapse of its own internal disease.
The time for change from within has been passed, there will be no political revolution. They have the guns and they have the power. No force can resist them. There is no need to resist them. The system is crumbling from within.
The problem before us now concerns the new system we will build to replace the old.
We now have the opportunity to lay the foundation for a gentler and kinder world. We can choose to look forward to a world poorer in resources but richer in appreciation of the existence we share with all life.
The alternative is to look forward to a world poorer in resources and every one of us fighting tooth and nail for the next bite of food and the next breath of air. You have the power to make a peaceful resolution.
A peaceful revolution is the only peaceful solution. We cannot fight our way to a better world. A better world can only arrive with mutual respect and concern for the welfare of all life on our planet.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Hate multiplies hate, violence multiplies violence, and toughness multiplies toughness in a descending spiral of destruction….The chain reaction of evil–hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars–must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.”
Martin Luther King, Jr., Strength To Love, 1963.
