Nicole Kish plays her banjo and blows her harmonica for accompaniment on her version of “A Peaceful Solution.” She sings with a feeling that conveys her commitment to a peaceful resolution.
Many people have reason to consider life after collapse as the gulf coast and large parts of the mid-west go without power. While some go out hustling ice trying to keep food from spoiling others retreat to the RVs in their driveways.
Of course the ability to turn to higher usage of oil products to run generators and get repair vehicles on-sight shows the accustomed response. Few could begin to contend with difficulties without power if oil products were also unavailable.
Unfortunately large parts of the world must deal with such a situation. Perhaps now more people in the United States can relate to how unequal distribution of resources disadvantages so many.
Even more to the point, this is the world we will hand on to the children if we do not change. We can use the remaining supplies of nonrenewable resources to transition to post petroleum local economies.
A path to transition will also move us away from war and global intimidation to support the way of life to which we have become used to. Peace provides the foundation for all of this.
As you watch the news of 100,000s of people struggling without utilities, perhaps friends, family and you yourself also in such circumstances, think about how this would all go without oil. That is the world you are leaving to your children.
We can leave the path of war now and use nonrenewable resources to ease our lifestyles into sustainable modes of life. A Peaceful Solution is exactly such a path.
Nicole Kish sees the truth and has taken up her banjo and harmonica to spread the word of peace. We could all do worse than follow this path to a peaceful revolution.

Alright, well since I was old enough to understand politics I have felt there is something tremendously wrong with the way things are.
So at 15 years old I packed a bag and my guitar and started traveling North America singing my songs and trying to be the change I wanted to see.
We are such an amazing form of life, capable of so much better things than war, music for instance.
Music is one of the most incredible gifts we are given and people like Willie and all the other greats really make a difference with words and song. They inspire, and inspiration is indeed, in my opinion; the key to growth and change.

Beautiful rendition. Thanks Nicole!
an amazing rendition! well done!
Thank You guys very much! So glad to be a part of this!!
i would love to hear your own song “i am a murderess” which i think demonstrates the truth about what’s really going on behind the peaceful facade.
your gonna feel really stupid when she’s found not guilty
thank you Bean, IMHO everyone casting harsh judgments can feel stupid right now, sorry I missed the first comment troll

I thought we lived in a society where people were innocent until proven guilty… not the other way around. I’m surprised that Willie would have such close minded and judgemental fans.
