“I believe in dreams and dreamers, being one myself.” Willie Nelson
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” Buckminster Fuller
Butterflies and bees are two indicator species. Indicator species are generous messengers who communicate environmental degradation and warn us of impending dangers. They die before we die and if we change our direction we have a chance to save ourselves.
Butterflies and Bees can only live in a poison free environment.
To save the human race is synonymous with saving the environment. Healthy life is not possible without ecology. If we live in a healthy area with plenty of fresh, clean air and water with low levels of pesticides, herbicides and other poisons, butterflies and bees will proliferate.
We have a sensitive dependence on initial conditions.
The Chinese proverb reminds us that beginnings are the most important time to take the most care. Small subtle influences can have profound effects down the line.
This is the true meaning of the butterfly effect.
Right now is a new beginning. The entire world is connected and we are dependent on each other for assuring our basic human needs and aspirations are met. This is a turning point in history as our consciousness changes to invent a new model for living a peaceful healthy life. Many people see the necessity for global unity. Some people devote their lives to achieving this vision.
