While we are waiting for Will Freed’s version of “A Peaceful Solution” he has offered these two songs. Please honor and respect this generous gift and do not abuse it. Will Freed normally asks a fee to download these songs.
We asked what inspired Will Freed to write his songs.
Will Freed answered. “My songs are a reflection of how I feel and what I stand for. I am a creative person, exploring many different styles of music. I see my work as an ongoing learning process. To remain sane in an unjust world it is essential for me to be productive.”
“Most of my tunes have been inspired by personal experiences.” He said.
The song “Stop Violence” for example reflects his own violent childhood experiences and his deep-rooted aversion towards violence in general.

The song “Children of the World” comes from his concern and deep love for the little ones. Will Freed says, “My heart aches knowing how many of them are suffering without receiving even the most basic assistance.”

Thank you Will Freed.
Will Freed is an international songwriter, singer, guitar-player and humanist. Although his roots are Hungarian-French he grew up in Germany. He started traveling and touring in his teens with several bands and orchestras, passing through South and North America while having the fortune to learn through and work with many great artists.
Later Will Freed lived in the UK for five years, working mainly as a session-player and composer. In Spain he took a long break from the pressure, but the love to make music made him decide to start a new project once again.
Will Freed has moved back to Germany for now, preparing a new album and rehearsing a band. Meanwhile he has released three CD’s. Among his most popular songs are “Hear Me Now”, “In Your Heart”, “Fools Mad Waltz” and “Stop Violence.” Now Will Freed is working on the album “the way of Asha”, which is due to be released in August 2007.
In his blog Will Freed explains “ASHA” (in relation to the album “the way of Asha”)
The Ordering Principle of Creation
Asha defined:
It is an Aryan concept, shared by Hindus as well as Persians. It literally means, “what fits” in any and every situation, every physical, emotional, ethical, mental, material and/or spiritual relationship.
In the realm of the strictly physical and material, it can be defined as the amalgam of laws that rule and uphold the Cosmos - the laws of chemistry, physics, biology etc. Thus it means also “Precision”.
However, Asha as a concept is hard to translate with any single word. For example, Asha is most closely Righteousness, but it is not Righteousness in the sense of the Bible, which defines it as “right standing with God“, although it includes this as a secondary meaning. Neither is Righteousness simply “justice” in the strict western sense, although, justice is one of Asha’s components, along with fairness, equity etc.
