Hear ”A Peaceful Solution” by The Tripplers

Although they’ve been playing together for thirty-seven years, “Take Back America,” The Tripplers’ cover of Willie Nelson’s “A Peaceful Solution,” is their first release.

The Tripplers sampled Viet Nam War pirate DJ Dave Rabbit and Gorecki’s Third Symphony, Second Movement, first 12 or so beats, in the making of “Take Back America.”

The Tripplers are at work on a sequel to “Take Back America,” tentatively entitled “Give Back Hawai’i.”

So the eclectic Brian Charles Clark along with his infamous friends has remixed the most unique pastiche version of A Peaceful Solution. And he is taking the Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute up on our promise to post every version anyone does whether it is audio or video.

This is Brian’s third artistic expression and the one that made me giggle every time I heard Willie Nelson pop in. You can be sure that Brian and his cohorts will surprise and delight us whenever they put their creative minds together to remix. But when I listened again new thoughts emerged, as my mind demanded I find the deeper hidden meaning always present in Brian Charles Clark’s creations.

Now it makes sense. I feel like an alien who has just tapped into the airwaves to pick up the last transmission, an S.O.S. message from a planet in dire need of rescue. And when the song ends amidst static I feel compelled to move into hyper drive to rescue the last voices of sanity in a world gone amuck. Will I be too late to save the patriots who have just been abducted by the dark force?

We’ll have to wait and see if the Tripplers can pick up any other clues from the cosmos. I’ll get back with you then. In the meantime listen for yourself and tell me if you get a clearer message. Don’t forget there is hidden meaning in the picture too.
