Patrick Moore wrote and recorded this song to further the cause of rational attitudes concerning marijuana. If we only reflect upon the community dedicated to peace, unconditional love and preemptive forgiveness that has grown up around marijuana use the benefits to society seem priceless.

The pointless damage being done to individuals, their communities and the country as a whole in the name of the so-called war on drugs will only stop when enough people stand up for sensible change in our marijuana laws.

The United States leads the world in incarceration of its citizens and the single greatest reason is the enforcement of the so-called war on drugs.

Not only has the so-called war on drugs not advanced towards its stated goals, the damage it does has grown out of proportion to the negligible down side of marijuana use.

Unlike many who seem  to think that cow towing to the government’s draconian laws violating  people’s intrinsic right to use cannabis is appropriate,  Heaven Sent is an expression of what the war on marijuana  actually is — an outrage!

Marijuana prohibition is  counterproductive at very level and those who consider what has gone on as  having anything to do with health or justice might well reconsider.  These laws need to be changed & together we can get-r-done!
