Patrick Moore wrote and recorded this song to further the cause of rational attitudes concerning marijuana. If we only reflect upon the community dedicated to peace, unconditional love and preemptive forgiveness that has grown up around marijuana use the benefits to society seem priceless.
The pointless damage being done to individuals, their communities and the country as a whole in the name of the so-called war on drugs will only stop when enough people stand up for sensible change in our marijuana laws.

Half a Million in custody on Drug Charges, Up Thirteen Times in 25 Years
Patrick Moore writes and performs his music in part to draw attention to the ridiculous situation we find ourselves in regarding marijuana legislation.
This is not a laughing matter.
The United States leads the world in incarceration of its citizens and the single greatest reason is the enforcement of the so-called war on drugs.

U.S. Incarceration Rate is Largest in the World
Even if you evaluate the so-called war on drugs just on the criteria of its effectiveness to achieve its stated goals it proves to be a failure. Not only has the so-called war on drugs not advanced towards its stated goals, the damage it does has grown out of proportion to the negligible down side of marijuana use.

Marijuana Possession Arrests in New York City In Three Decades
The criminalization of marijuana has not even made it more difficult to acquire by High School students.
Clearly, the current policies do not work in any way, shape or form.

High School Seniors Have Easy Access to Illegal Drugs
Patrick Moore musically asks the country to become more sane regarding marijuana. I find it impossible to find any fault with his request in either form or content.

Unlike many who seem to think that cow towing to the government’s draconian laws violating people’s intrinsic right to use cannabis is appropriate, Heaven Sent is an expression of what the war on marijuana actually is — an outrage!
Marijuana prohibition is counterproductive at very level and those who consider what has gone on as having anything to do with health or justice might well reconsider. These laws need to be changed & together we can get-r-done!
Heaven Sent lyrics
We so happy we alive, we together can survive. Stop the bullshit stop the lies, now’s the time, legalize! Tell me brother, tell me true, what the hell, we gonna gonna do? Remember the days, we saw purple haze? One an’ one an’ one is three…hey yeah baby what ya do to me!
We so happy we alive, we together can survive. What mother nature heaven sent, don’t belong to government! Hey there sister, what’s the plan, do ya really, really understand? Remember the days…
We so happy we alive we together can survive. Stop the bullshit, stop the lies, now’s the time, legalize! Half the world up in smoke, where on earth, can we take a toke? Remember the days…
Human nature full an’ free, modifies reality. Open up inner flower, peace an’ love, inner power. Open up inner flower, peace an’ love, inner inner power! Remember the days…

The sincerity, truth and passion is so alive in Pat’s Moore’s message and delivery. He is a breath of fresh air!
