Hear ”A Peaceful Solution” by Gloria Sangreal O’Neil and Bob Fraser

If you want to get some mojo working, then have a listen to Gloria Sangreal O’Neil. Singing sustains Gloria. Blues and jazz are her specialties. She’s worked with some great musicians such as Count Basie, Jon Paris and the Saturday Night Live Horn Section, and the O’Jays.

Gloria Sangreal O’Neil projects a dynamic and uniquely powerful sound in the tradition of the great female vocalists we have all come to admire and respect. She lists Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Etta James, Whitney Houston, Grace Slick, Sarah Vaughn and Billie Holiday among her influences. You can hear these influences when Gloria sings.

At the age of seventeen, her feeling and hypersensitivity brought about a ruptured appendix. Her near death experience and merging with all the love and light of God changed her life. Gloria Sangreal O’Neil asked to return and this has lead to a quest to help find and bring Heaven on Earth.

That led to many pursuits not the least of which was sharing a passionate voice. Gloria Sangreal O’Neil started by singing in most of the clubs in Cleveland with Blitz, Crossfire and others. This developed into many great gigs touring on the road with First Class.

When her sister got too ill with cancer, Cleveland became home again. Now you can find her singing at ArcAncient, a wellness center. There it is all about the love, healing and opening hearts and minds. Blues and jazz are a part of that.

Gloria Sangreal O’Neil is now finishing up her song collection “Tapestry In Blues.” When that is finished you will find Gloria out on the scene again. Peace on Earth is her work, in every way she can, she says “Wake up people, we are on this little blue ball together and we are one family.”

I believe it is our calling globally at this time to learn we are all connected to each other and this earth.

Without peace, we remain in an old paradigm of learning we are alive through the immanent threat of death. By choosing to save a fellow man, in an instant we know we are one and the same-Whatsoever you do to the least of my brother or sister that you do unto me….

As Anodea Judith and others so aptly states: “It is time to learn to choose the Power of Love over the Love of Power.”

It is exigent that we learn to care for each other and this in and of itself will create a climate of peaceful condition and community.

Rather than the goal of who has the most as a benchmark to measure success, who cares the most and is concerned with consciousness and their fellow men and women.

So I pray and my work at every level is to wake people up to a Higher form of being that exists within each of us.
