Discover Willie Nelson’s Secret to Manifesting
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Willie Nelson is doing what he loves right now and that is playing his music for all his friends at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. And we feel like the luckiest people in the world because Willie is entrusting Jay and myself with the honor of creating the Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute. Thank you Willie for this privilege. Peace for Our Global Human Family is a reality if we believe and act right now. That’s what this blog is about.
Since this is the first post I’d like to tell you Willie’s favorite Cherokee story, which I’m excerpting from Willie’s recent book, The Tao of Willie: A Guide to Happiness in Your Heart. First off in case you didn’t know Willie is part Cherokee or Tsalagi as they refer to themselves. So this story is close to his heart.
The Tsalagi believed that within each person was a battle between two wolves. Sitting with his grandson, a grandfather explained that one of the wolves was evil and was driven by anger, envy, regret, ego, and the worship of war.
The other wolf was good, and was driven by love, hope, compassion, and the promise of peace.
Thinking about the wolves already growing within him, the boy asked,”Grandfather, which wolf wins?”
And the old man replied, “The one you feed.”
Here at the Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute we are committed to feeding that good wolf because he’s real hungry right now and we need your help to make World Peace a reality in our lifetime. All we need to do is allow ourselves to awaken to the peace that already exists in our own hearts by feeding that good wolf.
As Willie says in his book, The Tao of Willie: A Guide to Happiness in Your Heart, “Because of positive thinking, there is very little that I’ve wanted to do that I haven’t been able to do.” This is how you start feeding that good wolf.
Willie’s book touches my soul with his down to earth genuine stories, charm and sincerity, which made me, cry, laugh and say “wow he knows exactly how I feel. He shows us a simple and easy way out of the maze of living a confusing unhappy life and how to be an authentic happy human being. Willie is an authentic human being that wants to reach out and share his hard earned wisdom for the benefit of all. His book is hard to put down once you begin reading because Willie makes you feel like you are his friend and he’s talking directly to you. I love rereading his book as frequent reminder of how to manifest the life I dream of living.
Willie Nelson has a question for us in his book, The Tao of Willie: A Guide to Happiness in Your Heart. “What truly would the world be like if everyone lived their lives in the most positive way possible?”
Will you join this adventure and create a peaceful and prosperous world with us?

Very exciting. It’s long been my dream to be able to do more for peace. Even though I’ve participated in the Peace Movement since the Vietnam era this is the first time I’ve been able to commit so much of my time and energies. My thanks go out to Willie and Liz for for their trust, support and encouragement. I couldn’t be doing this without them.

Go Willie and Co. Its a breath of fresh air to hear these ideas … again. I only say that because I know in my heart that peace comes from inside. The Way of the Peaceful Warrior changed me when I was a teenager. Since then I’ve tried to live a positive life. But I’m consistently frustrated by the negative - the neo-cons, Rove’s “missing emails”, war, oil, the barking dogs next door. The list can go on and on. You’re right, too much concentrating on the negative. We are what we eat, breathe and think. Sign me up for the PRI.

Thank you, kev, for stopping by and saying hi! One of the things we want to do here is bring attention to all the good people and good organizations working for peace. There are so many and yet you hardly see a blurb in the mainstream media.
If anyone knows of someone or some organization that is working towards peace, let us know and we’ll review them and give them a link.
