Hear “A Peaceful Solution” by Kyle Andrew Scott MacDonald
Kyle Andrew Scott MacDonald gave us his version of “A Peaceful Solution” in time to be part of our reminder about the International Day of Peace. This is a great time to think globally and act locally.
This year’s ceremonies at UN Headquarters took place today and will be archived at http://www.un.org/webcast/. The program featured presentations by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and other UN dignitaries, as well as UN Messengers of Peace Jane Goodall and Princess Haya of Jordan.
There were performances by a choir from Japan and musicians from the Vermont Peace Academy; films from Yemen and Albania; and large screen video-conferencing with students in Iraq, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia and Sudan. This was followed by a presentation of Pledges for Peace, the Minute of Silence, the Ringing of the Peace Bell, and a Flags of the World Ceremony by the World Peace Prayer Society!
Of course, Kyle Andrew Scott MacDonald and the Krishna Band act locally as a part of their lifestyle. They give an excellent example of how each of us can work daily for peace.
While it is great that we have the UN throwing this annual party for peace and Kyle Andrew Scott MacDonald working daily there is still plenty for each of us to do. It does not need to be a big thing, but if each of us would do some small thing for peace every day, the cumulative effects would be awe inspiring.

Hello my name is Kyle Andrew Scott MacDonald. I was born in raised in a little town called North Platte, Ne. Since I was a kid I remember listening to many different types of music. Today I currently listen mostly to All types of metal, old-school country, SWING AND JAZZ, REGGAE, and neo-classical music.
I’ve always enjoyed the work that Willie Nelson and his family and friends put into their music. Currently I am in a Progressive Metal Band called Krishna. We mix common day “Death Metal” with reggae, jazz, rap, blues, and neo-classical influence into all of our new songs.
Our Message we want to spread is A New Kind of Authority based on the title of our last c.d.. The A New Kind of Authority campaign is an promotional concept we’ve been using to get people to stand up and be the local government.
By recycling, voting, and numerous other things, we can encourage the Nebraskan metalheads and music fans to not give up on the idea of democracy. We believe complaining just makes noise, but showing your true colors in war time makes a far greater impact on the corrupt people running the state of Nebraska.
We hope to get people into Metal that were not into metal, and get metalheads to start enjoying our other influencial roots. By working together we can help regain our beautiful state.

Soon we’re planning on the recording of 2 more versions of Peaceful Solution, one metal the other punk.
