Reg and Caley Campbell demonstrate their creativity, kindness and generosity by not only providing an original video version of A Peaceful Solution based on Willie Nelson’s and Amy Nelson’s A Peaceful Solution but they have also sent Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute their song as an mp3 file.

Now you all have a chance to download this great song and use it as a soundtrack for your own A Peaceful Solution video to show at Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute and on any video hosting site.

You become part of A Peaceful Solution and help Peace go viral.

Reg and Caley Campbell show their commitment to peace by participating in Willie Nelson’s A Peaceful Solution project and giving the world a beautiful uplifting song about peace and freedom. These selfless actions offer an example of personal qualities one needs to possess in creating a peaceful world.

One of the many pleasures of facilitating Willie’s Peace project involves meeting some terrific creative people who dedicate their lives to creating peace. Of course the other obvious pleasure entails seeing and hearing fantastic original art creations.

Often theses creative encounters evolve into friendships and continued correspondences. So it happened with Reg who sent me an original quatrain to express his gratitude and to lift my spirits.

I feel his quatrain needs exposure because it extends the meaning of his song as he entitles the quatrain “Dominick”. Reg and Caley dedicate their version of A Peaceful Solution to Dominick, born 09/13/2007. Reg adds,

“May his world find peace.”

Dominick, the baby, represents future generations and reminds us that our actions today impact him and other children already born as well as future generations yet to come.

Reg writes, “I wrote you a little quatrain, it’s called ‘Dominick’.”

Not the stroke, of pen nor brush,
nor the hand on crimson blush.
Is creation so unique, humbling and meek.
As the baby’s tenderest touch!

We have a responsibility to assure that the children have a future worth living.

Reg and Caley’s A Peaceful Solution topical and narrative theme of peace reminds me of a folk song . At the same time their song possesses the elements of a narrative story when they sing of the transformation to a peaceful solution. This artistic move suggests a ballad.

Reg and Caley’s presentation has so much reverence their song borders on a hymn as the rich imagery of the dove of peace and the olive leaf conjures up spiritual feelings and associations.

The bluegrass music played with two acoustic instruments and Caley’s superb picking provide the cohesiveness necessary to fuse the multifaceted styles into one powerful rendition of A Peaceful Solution.

Thank you Reg and Caley Campbell for sharing your heart and soul with the world.

Please make it a point to check out Reg and Caley’s YouTube channel to hear lots of excellent music.

Reg Campbell and wife Brenda have been married 25 years, and have 3 sons, Caley, Tyler and Jason. We reside in Callander Ontario, Canada. The “gateway” to northern Ontario!

I’ve been interested in Peace since back in the sixties, Vietnam, and other conflicts brought the struggle for Peace to my attention. I was influenced first by music, and more so the lyrics. I have always been an avid reader, and admired the great men who advocated Peace.

Early musical influence, and my love of music put me on the Peaceful path, and the great authors and orators fortified my strong faith and belief in Peace. Frankly, I think humanity has had enough of war and we need to find a new, peaceful beginning.

I don’t feel compelled to go into the reasoning behind this particular war; they’re simply is none. Based on lies and greed, as are all conflicts, the sooner it is over, the better. My strong belief in God, truth, compassion, and equality motivate me to strive for Peace, and the deceit, destruction, death, and suffering caused by war, motivates me to write.

More for my sanity, and not by choice!

These strong beliefs go beyond mans inhumanity to man, I have grave concern towards mans wanton destruction of the planet. We, collectively, must reach an age of enlightenment to solve these man made issues.

We must have change!

Change in our priorities and those of our elected people. We must face these problematic realities. We must educate ourselves, our children, and the world at large.

With problems such as racism, poverty, hunger, disease, natural disasters, global warming, and environmental catastrophes…to name but a few,

Peace is the least we can do, and only a beginning!

 I truly appreciate what Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute, and the good people there, are doing toward the advancement of Peace, and a Peaceful solution.

Thank You for offering Caley and I, as well as all the other great artists, an opportunity to participate in this most worthy project.

Thank you Willie and Amy for writing this beautiful song and sharing it with so many.

Thank you Liz, for all your help and support, and for being so very gracious…

  3. Reg Campbell Says:

    The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations
    has been two hundred years.
    These nations have progressed through this sequence:
    >From bondage to spiritual faith;
    from spiritual faith to great courage;
    from courage to liberty;
    from liberty to abundance;
    from abundance to selfishness;
    from selfishness to complacency;
    from complaceny to apathy;
    from apathy to dependence;
    from dependency back again into bondage.

  4. Reg Campbell Says:

    To Whom It May Concern - By Paul W.
    —————————————- —

    Waging wars in the name of peace,
    Killing millions to suit your needs,
    Spreading terror like a new disease,
    Scare the people keep them on their knees,
    Preach the value of democracy,
    As you remove all of our liberty,
    Give in to you so we can all be free,
    Sell the fear and hope we do not see,

    It’s a new world, a brave new world.

    Came to power based upon a lie,
    How many more people now must die?
    To get the oil and riches that you crave,
    The people who were free you now enslave,
    Masquerading as a Christian man,
    I think the Devil is your only fan,
    As you implement your ‘master plan’
    Terrorising everyone you can,

    It’s a new world, a brave new world.

    Terror’s nothing but a state of mind,
    One that you inflict on all mankind,
    Guns and oil are the family trade,
    Let’s look again at all the plans you’ve made,
    Arm the world then send us all to war,
    And what exactly are we fighting for?
    Now you’re daddy’s little golden boy,
    And planet earth will be your brand new toy,

    It’s a new world, a brave new world.

    Sitting pretty in your seat of power,
    As daddy tells you it’s your finest hour,
    But when he’s gone where will you run and cower?
    It’s those you serve who really have the power,
    You’ve underestimated all mankind,
    So what’s the legacy you’ll leave behind?
    Look back through history and I think you’ll find,
    A criminal’s remembered for his crime,

    It’s a new world, a brave new world.

  6. This version of A Peaceful Solution says in words, music, and action is what Reg is all about. It was touching to see Reg and his son Caley play together, but you could see and hear just by the way they play together, what a mutual respect they have for one another on so may levels. These men feel passionate about their beliefs to better this world, and they show it together and on their own without any hesitation,speaking from their own hearts to others in their words, music, and actions. I remember how excited he messaged to me about getting this chance to communicate Peace and the honor to be asked by The Willie Nelson A Peaceful Solution Institute. You picked a good and decent man to speak his heart,mind, and soul about Peace. Now,as a musician and songwriter? Whew, this guy can play songs, write songs, and get others to play songs so great, each would move the hearts of all who listened to him play. I thought that before I knew him a friend and Brother.I thank this man for all these things I shared about him and more.
    Reg Campbell, thank-you, my Friend, My Brother!May you be blessed as you surely have done to others with that great big heart of yours! PEACE not Pieces!!!
