We are living through a lesson about not knowing history. The longer we tolerate the lies surrounding 9/11, the invasion of Iraq and the Patriot Act the dumber we look. I found an excellent historical synopsis of fake terror tricks, which are often false flag operations. You are encouraged to read it. It is online. It is free. So you do not have a good reason not to read it.

The article is not about conspiracy theories at all. The article reports verifiable facts. And since it was originally written in 2000 it does not even mention 9/11/2001. In 1776 the founders of this country had good reasons for limiting the power of the new government they were creating. They knew history. It is past time that we know at least what they knew.

The Cold War was rife with fraud. “Team B” intentionally and consistently over estimated the offensive threat of the Soviet Union. Congress and The People of the United States were terrorized by false warnings of the Soviet Union’s strength. The military-industrial complex profited hugely. There were abuses of governmental power in the name of national security.

The War on Drugs is another phony war. Once again threats are exaggerated to extract more money from The People of the United States. Drug abuse is worse than ever. This time we are paying for more prisons and increasingly militarized police. This time we lost the effectiveness of the Bill of Rights. The human toll on The People of the United States is disgustingly and revoltingly huge.

Now the War on Terror and its expansion to Iraq on fraudulent pretenses is costing The People of the United States even more. It is costing incredible amounts of money. Most tragically it is costing lives in pointless deaths. Equally tragic is the cost in the disabled returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The government of the United States has scared another generation and indebted an unknown number of future generations. And it has cost us dearly in lost rights.

Government must be watched. Government machinations must be transparently visible. The People who are governed must have recourse to abuses of governmental power. Governments are only as trustworthy as they can be held accountable. Governments are only as beneficial as they can be limited and controlled. The founders of this country knew this. Over the intervening generations The People of the United States have forgotten this. Perhaps you have not yet read the article.

Ponder the history of lies by those in power. Think about how for thousands of years government after government has deceived the governed. There are reasons that the United States of America rose to be a great country and earned the respect of the world. Those reasons are increasingly threatened. Some even say those reasons no longer exist.

I am not prepared to say that yet. I believe there is still hope for The People of the United States to redeem their government. But for this hope to prove worthy, The People of the United States must know history. The People of the United States must act with deliberation and decisiveness. And the time to act is past due.

Our system of government must be tested to see if it will still work for the People of the United States. We, The People, must reclaim our rights. We, The People, must prove to the world and ourselves that the United States is still a great country. We, The People, must hold those leaders responsible that have brought us to this condition and put into power leaders that will turn this country around.

If We, The People, do not do this then the United States of America will become one more of the failed states of history. Please do not allow our country to become merely another historical bad example and warning to The People of the future.
