I have just become aware of the inhumane lives and slaughter practices at the ripe old age of 55! I have stopped eating meat and hope by example someone else might do the same. Please Mr.Nelson help bring an awareness to all the unthinkable cruelty that takes place in these factory farming giants and the horrendous slaughter house practices. Americans are so de-sensitized to the torture inflicted on these animals that something needs to be done. please help bring this to the foreforont and attention to the public. I think these horses would beg to be slaughtered rather than to go through this painful death. My friends and I have contacted numerous rescues and law enforcement to try and help these poor starving creatures. If you think slaughter is bad, come take a look at these horses located in Bastrop Texas( behind the Lowe's store on FM 969) in a barren pasture with no food. They are all bones. It is so cruel.
