Out of the Blue has created a video using their version of “A Peaceful Solution” as a soundtrack. Their version, easily one of the most awesomely dynamic versions of “A Peaceful Solution” we’ve received to date, seemed to be made for video.
The pacing of the video editing perfectly matched the movement of the song and appears to be a perfect pace to deliver the powerful imagery. The interaction between the imagery and the music made it impossible to discern if the video was made for the music or if the music was made for the video.
This cooperation between the soundtrack and visuals releases a synergistic burst of energy that drives forward an irrepressible message of immanent peace. This could produce the pressure required to mandate immediate peace.
The world needs more of this.
The Out of the Blue version of “A Peaceful Solution” featured here on November 9th, 2007, impressed us with its high production values and musicianship. Out of the Blue has now gone the extra mile to help spread the idea that peace in our time has become possible.
No one appreciates this more than me because I believe peace in our time has become mandatory. While the humanitarian issues and economic burden certainly deserve attention greater issues have emerged that demand the entire human race end its divisiveness and unite to meet the challenges now before us all.
The threats to the very existence of humanity may be witnessed in the ever increasing demand upon ever more rapidly disappearing resources. The threats to the very existence of humanity may be discovered in the ever increasing amounts of chemicals to be found in the bodies of every person alive. The threats to the very existence of humanity may be experienced in the ever increasing levels of background radiation.
None of these threats can be adequately remedied until all the people of the planet unite in peace.
To symbolize this unity with a fusion of separate sensations, a sythesthesia of sight and sound as Out of the Blue accomplished, achieves a perfect synecdoche for a global peaceful resolution.
Far more than a denotative exclamation of peace, the connotative overtone created by Out of the Blue both plies us with euphony as well as shocking us by forcing the recognition of the inevitable disaster looming upon our present course.
I would hope the seeming contradiction of this paradox reveals an unexpected truth. Rather than running the risk of allowing an accusation of overstatement and hyperbole, Out of the Blue understates the stakes every person on earth gambles by the deliberate underplaying of our lost capacity to survive.
This video makes an excellent case against the social catastrophe caused by violence. The cumulative damage done by countless generations of escalating warfare will likely never and perhaps cannot become an itemized list.
The bottom-line questions the viability of our species given this behavior.
One would have thought the threat of mutually assured destruction in thermonuclear war would be enough to move most to embrace a path to perpetual peace. Now it seems that threat was inadequate to dissuade people from their path of violence and exploitation.
The human race has reached the point where the same old behavior not only no longer serves us but guarantees our extinction. We must evolve beyond a culture of war or perish. A commitment to peace has become required if there are to be any people in the future.
Out of the Blue does an incredible job of balancing attractive upbeat pro-peace music with a pastiche of war and peace images to permit you to compare and contrast in a peaceful auditory environment.
We could not hope for more.
Now comes the great experiment.
Will the message continue to propagate through the human race until we all recognize and accept the necessity of global peace?
The peace movement no longer confines its concerns to a single outbreak of violence. The peace movement embraces a challenge to all forms of violence.
Violence has become too expensive for the human race to pursue by limiting the efficiency and effectiveness of the progressive growth required to meet monumental challenges.
Out of the Blue has stepped up to help spread the message of peace.
Thank you, Out of the Blue.
My hope is that I can soon thank many others for also standing up and spreading the message of peace.

A peaceful solution? A peaceful 2008? I hope so!! Lets Face it it’s been a crappy year War, Economic uncertainty, The Assassination of Prime Minister Bhutto, not to mention that 2008 is the probably the most important Election year ever!
The Solution must begin with the Reality that the United States cannot rule the World.
The Bushites and the Neocon Movement must fail in order for Democracy to Survive.
We have to work together as a World Community.
There is a reason why Terrorism exists in the world today. It is simply that the First World doesn’t pay attention to what’s going on in the Third World. The United States must lead the World in Green Energy.
WE need to share this Technology! WE need to Export Democracy not at the barrel of a Gun but by Bringing the third world into the Information age…the more People that have Education and information will make more informed decisions.
Barack Obama is a great Political Leader… I hope it is his time and I hope He will lead us into this New Era of Hope. As a fellow X generation member, I ask any of you Nay Sayers that I’ve recently heard on the Radio say that “He’s Unelectable because He’s Black” Take a reality check and consider by virtue of this statement you are a Racist.
Hillary Clinton Didn’t Win in Iowa. Neither Did Bill.
And I believe Howard Dean Won Last Time?
The Fact Remains…The Future is Democratic…not Republican.
Either way, Hillary, Barrack or even Edwards can lead us out this dark passage in American History.
I just hope the Republican Party returns to its traditional role of Fiscal reasonability, not crazy religofacism.
Let’s all hope the War ends this Year. Let us all come together and actually Elect our leaders this Year. Let’s all contribute to “A Peaceful Solution”.
Peace
