Boucrate, Québécois French Canadian, sings “Love Back America” in his version of “A Peaceful Solution.”
Love back America.
What a tasteful and elegant modification of the original Willie Nelson lyrics. How perceptive of Boucrate to stand outside of the United States and identify love as the essence of a peaceful revolution.
Love conquers all.
Leave it to a French Canadian to embrace love as a solution. As cautious as I am about using stereotypes in this case I feel it is justified. The Internationalized French culture has become famous for expressing love.
This expression of love for the sake of peace seems both obvious and profoundly insightful in hindsight. I feel bashful and humbled not to have made this point earlier on my own initiative.
Perhaps a great deal of the hostile aggression repeatedly demonstrated by the United States of America has been in response to a lack of love. Perhaps if instead of fear and loathing towards our current government we embraced it in love then the violence would end.
Who loves America?
Granted that the United Stated of America has done very little, far too little, to endear itself to the people of the Middle East. Even within its own borders the United States has done much to anger its own residents.
Nothing justifies withholding love.
True love goes beyond these transient events and finds a way for a peaceful resolution. Truly peaceful people present themselves as lovers. No one can mistake a weapon as an instrument of peace and love.
Where does the love begin in the United States?
It can only begin within each individual. Of course, it becomes easier if those who know not love witness an expression of love by another.
Boucrate freely offers an expression of love for America.
Now comes the time for the United States to reciprocate. Now comes the time for the United States to express love for the rest of the world. Now comes the time for the United States government to express love for its residents.

Why are you passionate about creating peace?
I believe that many creators are from the start naturally seeking to share from the deepest of their hearts, what they are feeling, and how they translate their visions of the world.. And in 1969 I saw clearly that what this world needed, was any kind of manifestations of Peace.
How long have you been working for peace?
In 1971 I started my active path for Peace. Issued from a very violent childhood at home and in the street, by that experience, I did not only recognize then the value of Peace, but also it’s power, when I started to put in practice by myself and collectively, some of it’s principles.
What motivates you to work for peace and the environment?
As an old vegetarian hippie that learned to Love Nature, I realize the primordial importance of respecting her. My motivations are simple. “Small is beautiful” is not only the title of an old forgotten cool book… It’s for me the best way to do it, so to live and to love one another!
Why have you chosen the path of Art for Peace?
Well I have worked has an organizer and performer in a lot of folk or rock festivals for Peace and environment issues, And I can say that though the resistance is strong toward change, I can say that Art for Peace is a tool an a platform for all the ideas that sometime don’t get trough or reach the Public. We have to keep the message alive for all that work’s all around for peace.
What are your ideas for peaceful solutions?
Like that song well born, from a great source of inspiration, and I name Monsieur Willie Nelson; It will happen, by the extra effort of all in believing and participating in a Peaceful Revolution…
Yes a Peaceful Revolution!
