Carl Guage uses a personalized Blues style for his version of “A Peaceful Solution.”
The Blues style of music originated in the United States of America. Carl Guage plays right out of the heart of the United States.
I believe that if We The People of the United States listened to the heart of the United States then we would have a very different and more peaceful world.
Somewhere along the line the United States of America lost its way in respect to the wishes and desires of We The People.
No sane person desires violence and conflict. Those who do become labeled as criminals and find themselves in institutions not of their choosing.
What is to be done when those who we’ve trusted to guide our country to peace and prosperity instead lead us into war and poverty?
That is why we are asking everyone to stand up a sing a song for peace. We figure that if enough people sing the same song for peace then it would be impossible to ignore.
If more people sang “A Peaceful Solution” after it became impossible to ignore then it would become an insistent request requiring attention.
Once proper attention was paid to the issue then a peaceful revolution will become imminent.
Willie Nelson believes that anyone can carry the message of a peaceful resolution. Together, those who carry the message of a peaceful resolution will manifest peace.
Countless obstacles, obviously too large for an individual to tackle, have been overcome by a group effort.
The Willie Nelson Peace Research Institute has become a platform for this group effort. We are here to display evidence of a National voice for peace.

I Am peaceful Person. I think Most people are!!
You would have to be a Madman not to be. War leads to Death.
But By the Same token I find it hard to assume the Position of the Lamb Waiting for the Slaughter. America Needs to defend Herself. I think Homeland security should be on the Top of our List.
This War is Senseless given the fact the Enemy has no Face. And Hides in at Least 3 Countries.Terrorism is Bred.

You know what I think would be a wonderful thing to create? An educational site and search engine customized mainly for the members of congress.
We always want to say how bad these people are but most of them are just uneducated dolts. As such they aren’t really aware of how much damage they do when they trade off a few personal morals for cash or pork. The White House and other wrong-minded individuals or groups educate them by email and word of mouth. But what they learn is more often wrong than not.
It would be great to have a common page with a sub-section for each congressional member that crawled the web for issues both in their areas and nationally/internationally which would log, categorize, and statistically analyze all sorts of data. Including but not limited to public opinion, 100s of thousands of text books, real science and information, contact information, etc. etc. Basically bring them the web in a focused application format that is both easy to use and fun.
The way it is now each member could spend 24/7 of their entire career and still not understand what the Federal Reserve is where it came from, the policies that govern it, nor what alternatives there were to it. What global warming really is and what causes it. What the CFR is what it stands for and who’s a member, etc. etc. etc.
Most congressmen are just ignorant. If they had a common and customizable application interface that took most of the work of researching things out of researching things we’d have a much more informed congressional body and allot of the mistakes and malpractices that are occurring today would have less of a chance of occurring.
It would take money from the private sector and would need to be made a big deal of as “a present from the people to the members of congress” and it would need to be kept in the buzz so to speak to keep them coming back to it and etc.
I’d be willing to devote all my time to head the project’s development, organization, and staff the initial effort it if I could find funding. I’ve had some experience in this field as a game and applications designer and developer and would love the opportunity to apply my skills to something like this making it my life’s work.
We all form our opinions based on the information we have available to us and make decisions from a cost / benefit formula from those opinions. This truly is the information age and I think allot of the disconnect we see between ourselves and our congressmen is a result of the information we process - or don’t process as the case may be.
I think it would be awesome to do this in the name of Willie Nelson and any other celebrities that wanted in on it.

?i hope that you’re reading the comments here as you are cruising in the bus or taking a break.?i know that you supported dennis kucinich. well, you know that he has dropped out of the race so…….my suggestion is that you get on board with dr. ron paul.?
i know that you know of him and he really is the only candidate that i can see you putting yourself behind. what do you think about that suggestion?
?he is an honorable and principled man and is the ONLY anti war candidate left standing.?he is NOT a politician. he IS a statesman. the only one. that’s what sets him apart from the rest of the gang.
dr. paul’s core belief is strick adherence to the constitution and that would
bring us the peace that we in american and the world want to have.
?i know that you understand monetary policy because you read g edward griffin’s book, “the creature from jekyll island” and endorsed it with your comment. my youngest son has an earlier edition with your quote on the back cover. well, having said that then that leaves you only one choice. dr. paul is the ONLY one who gets it. you know that and i know that.
?dr. paul is now fighting on 2 fronts - for the presidency and for his congressional seat.?this election is the most important ever. there is SO much at stake - and dr. paul’s candidacy is so much more than a campaign. it is a revolution - a revolution of ideas and taking back our country to it’s rightful beginnings by strict adherence to the constitution.

of course we know that the polls are inaccurate. if candidates were polled by grassroots support, dr. paul would win hands down. the others can only dream of such support.

after having listened to your interview with a jones i know that the good doctor is the guy for you. you have actually almost quoted the words of dr. paul a few times in the interviews.
