Hear “A Peaceful Solution” by Dani Arrow

Dani Arrow contributes his version of “A Peaceful Solution” as an mp3 file. This signifies another effort to reach out to other people in a peaceful manner that he finds so easy and natural.

Those of us who see the natural ease in peace find it hard to understand those who work so hard expending so much effort and irreplaceable resources to create conflict. Dani Arrow is not alone in viewing the status quo as misdirected confusion at best.

Our greatest strength as people has also become our greatest liability. Human beings possess the ability to feel compassion for others, to walk in another’s shoes and to see through another’s eyes.

When we practice the Golden Rule we put this ability to the highest use.

This ability to understand another’s viewpoint sometimes leads us to imagine that animals, plants and inanimate objects also possess human motivations.

When we catch ourselves mistakingly projecting human attributes on non-humans it is at first easy to justify these naive and erroneous assumptions. We can all understand how easy it is to make this mistake especially in regards to monkeys and other mammals.

Of course if we habitually project human feelings, emotions and motivations onto obviously nonhuman animals it becomes nearly impossible not to project human attributes on animals that look human but aren’t.

This is the case with psychopaths. Psychopaths look human and have studied humans well enough to not only pass as human but to also skillfully manipulate humans.

Psychopaths lack the ability to feel compassion. Psychopaths live in the same kind of self-centered world that animals live in. Psychopaths care only for themselves and willfully cause others to suffer just for entertainment in some cases.

We all have to understand that there are these types of entities at large in the world. We must protect ourselves from their manipulations and limit their power to harm us. Once we see the problem the solution becomes obvious.

Please do not indulge in confusion. The world cannot suffer the dazed confusion of those who refuse to acknowledge the true state of the world and how it got here. See through your self-imposed refusal to believe the obvious and embrace the peaceful revolution.

Why are you passionate about creating peace?

I never really thought of peace as something that has to be “created”, to me it always seemed peace should be the standard. I still don’t understand why anyone would waste time to make war if you can use this time to make love. I guess I’m a bit of a Hippie in that way.

Anyway, people have to wake up and realize it’s much more fun to talk, be friends, have a good time than fight.

How long have you been working for peace?

Writing this I am just 21 years old. I’m a peaceful guy, and seen as how the wars never stop and it is like a Déjà vu over and over again, I realized I have a voice so I am bound to use it. I publish songs that come out of my heart, and peace is a big part of it.

It is important to me that people know I don’t make this music to get a lot of money, I do it for myself and for others out of joy. That’s why people should be able to download my version of “A Peaceful Solution” for FREE, just like they can download my whole album for FREE at http://www.myspace.com/daniarrowsound

What motivates you to work for peace and the environment?

Looking at our environment, the planet will always be. We might hurt our planet, but the earth will heal – only we are the ones that might not survive it. I would like people to read up as much as they can about it, for it is so important to know. You can save energy everywhere with simple things, use a bike or walk instead of driving with a car, take a few hours to go out and plant a tree… please do also visit http://www.11thhouraction.com to read up on this. I strongly recommend watching the Movie 11th Hour too!

Why have you chosen the path of Art for Peace?

I have chosen the path of art simply because music is the expression of the soul, and in these days a way of speaking to masses where they will actually listen!

What are your ideas for peaceful solutions?

People should tale a deep look inside their own hearts, find out what brings them joy, what makes them really happy. And follow! I don’t think anyone will associate war with joy. War is a waste of time when you can actually use that time to talk and be friends.
