A Peaceful Solution Alex Byrd

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Alex Byrd plays his version of “A Peaceful Solution” with a fellow musician for our education and entertainment. He reveals a good deal about his life online and in his statement below.

Alex Byrd has a Heart for Peace in Central Kentucky.

This proves the lie to the artificial red state/blue state division. If you believe mainstream media then a person such as Alex Byrd should not exist. He doesn’t fit into their neat little demographic charts. But he represents more people than our leaders wish to acknowledge.

Alex Byrd adds to our education just by the mere fact of his existence. I suspect this is a lesson that many of you do not need and will in fact accept as obvious in perfect hindsight.

The wasteful and pointless charade portrayed as a national election will no doubt fool enough electorate into participating even after the suspicious results of the last two presidential contests. This participation will seem to validate whatever our election results are.

Matt Taibbi wrote an excellent article entitled “Economic Realities Are Killing Our Era of Fantasy Politics.” He explains why the whole red state/blue state thing, as well as much of what we’ve grown accustomed to in American politics, is bunk.

Learn a little about Alex Byrd after you watch his video and you’ll see what I mean. Maybe all of this is already perfectly clear to you.

We have more in common with each other than we do with our so-called representatives in Washington, D.C.

It has been pointed out to me that I may have rambled a bit in my last post. I confess that I tried to cover a lot of ground as economically as possible.

In an effort to lift a key point from possible obscurity I would like to refer you a long two-page article about “Political Ponerology: A Science on The Nature of Evil adjusted for Political Purposes.” Please notice at the beginning, “that the really good stuff is in the second part, so don’t skip it!”

We must dispense with the caricatures of psychopaths conjured up by mainstream media and Hollywood. Hopefully most people already know these are fiction.

However, psychopaths are real.

Sociopaths and characteropaths are real as well and the above article explains how they all interact, reinforce and enable each other. If you lack a background in psychology then please follow the links provided in the article to gain a realistic view of the role of pathologies in American culture.

I find it profoundly disturbing that an entirely different source provides many points of reinforcement to the above discussions. This different source, Psychohistory, provides the psychological background that explains how all of this has happened.

The Psychohistory site proves a couple of complete books FREE as well as many articles and complete chapters from yet another book. Lots of reading, I know, but if you want to know what is going on this will provide more of an education than most of us get even with a college degree.

Since everything we see, hear, smell, taste and feel is processed by our minds, understanding our minds should be the foundation to any science. After all, everything that is examined in physics, chemistry and the rest of the so-called hard sciences merely come to us through extensions to our senses.

All sciences should properly be understood as neuro-sciences.

We are all mental creatures. It is our minds that makes us unique from all other forms of life. It behooves us to at least understand the forces at work behind human endeavor.

With this understanding the necessity for a peaceful resolution becomes obvious. With this understanding a peaceful revolution is shown to be a requirement for the continuation of human life.

Take Back America.

Art For Peace

My passion for peace stems from a family history of prideful military service. I have learned first hand the cost of freedom and peace. Those who have not had a personal experience may take for granted the price our service men and women and their families pay so that we and others around the world can go about our daily lives without the fear of oppression. Only they make the statement I support Our Troops, but not The War plausible.

While our service men and women volunteer to put their lives at risk, the unsung heroes are the ones they leave behind. Attending churches and Prayer groups, praying for our Countries Sons, Praying for Peace. I write and sing for them, for the ones who live day to day with the fear or knowledge that their loved one will not return home.

I am actively involved in working for peace in several different avenues.

It is my belief that true peace includes peace of mind, body and spirit.

Therefore, I write songs of a spiritual nature to reach those who might not otherwise hear about Peace through Salvation, and never achieve a freedom from their past. I also have written with my nephew, Lance Corporal Joshua Ursprung , completing a chapter of his life scrawled on Marine Issue notebook paper words of thoughts gathered out of the dust and sand of Iraq, to find peace of mind through music in a collaborative effort titled, “Nothing Left To Give” which speaks of his time in War, with the United States Marine Corp. This song has been honored and accepted by Veterans and their families as an accurate descriptor of the Price of Peace.

But my most recent and most passionate work for peace is in the Corrections Systems across Kentucky. I am involved with a group of missionaries who spend up to three entire days inside the walls of maximum and medium security facilities spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I have not always been interested in peace. In fact it’s quite the opposite, I was a supporter and propounder of a chaotic existence. As a recovering drug addict and criminal I have experienced peace in its purest form, the acceptance and love of Jesus Christ, and as it should, Peace turned my life around and made me part of the solution in this world!

My motivation continues to be my family and the values that were instilled in me by my father who served in the Navy. Patriotism was more than just a noun it was a verb, it was something we put into action.

As a husband and a father, I will always pray to one day find a way to help bring peace to all nations, through the Word, not War. It is this hopes that drives me to put my music out there, for every one, on the World Wide Web, in local churches, and in prisons.
