Poodie always remembered my name. He would be surrounded by people and still find time to “visit”. That was how cool Poodie was! Sorry he had to go so early. I’ll miss him . . .

I was fortunate enough to have been poodies room mate from early 83 to mid 86 little fuzzy on the months but if you knew poodie you know why. what a caracter what a human being. he and budrock were very patiente with me as they taught me how to play golf. poodie said jackson if you can’t play golf. were off to a bad start. the time I spent at poodies were some of the best times of my life. memories I’ll always cherish. laughing with you or growling at cha. he was all over the map. probably the most genurous man I ever met. lot of stories can’t be told. but the most important was he made you feel like you were his best friend. even though everyone thought he was their best friend. I loved him, I miss him. and as he use to say a fartin horse never tires.

I met Poodie 25 years ago in Las Vegas. He always gave us Cali Girls the VIP treatment and introduced Kerry Ann and I as Willie and His most dedicated “Groopies”. Whenever they came to California we always knew he had a spot for us on the bus B-4 and after the Show. I met sooo many Celebrities because of Poodie and have some of the Best memories of my life spending time with him. He always made me feel like I was the only girl in the room no matter how many beautiful people were around. He was a constant Gentleman and made sure everyone had a good time. I Love You Poodie and will never forget all of the special times we spent together. I just really can’t believe you are gone but best believe that you will never be forgotten. My sympathy and condolences go out to Momma Locke, Willie, Paul, Bud, Jodie and all the Crew. Thanx again for soo many GOOD Days!!!!

I was not so fortunate as others to have met Poodie Locke…My Loss ! I attended the Memorial Picnic this past Sunday with friends all of whom had known Poodie and been out to the Hilltop on many of occasion. The LOVE in that place ! You could cut it with a knife !
I’m sure Poodie was watchin justa rockin and jiggin along with his many friends and guests.
If the Good Lord be willin maybe one day I’ll get to meet the MAN !
